Privacy

Last updated 2 November 2026. Vidyasu is a Botiksha product.

In short

Vidyasu is used by teachers. Students never sign in, and we don’t collect anything about individual students. We keep only what the app needs to work, we don’t sell data, and we don’t show ads.

What we store

  • Your teacher account: your name and email. If you sign up with a password, it is stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider. If you use Google, we receive your name and email from Google, nothing else.
  • Your classes: sections (like 8B), house names, colours and heroes, the board PIN (stored as a secure hash), and quest progress: which slide you reached, which houses got each live check right, points and stars.
  • Pilot requests: if you book a pilot, the details you type in the form (name, role, school, city, board, email, phone, note).

What we don’t collect

No student names, photos, answers or devices. Houses are teams, not people. No advertising or tracking cookies: the only cookies keep you (or an unlocked smart board) signed in.

Why we use it

To run your lessons, save progress between classes, show your reports, send account emails (a welcome note and password resets), and reply to pilot requests.

Who helps us run Vidyasu

  • Supabase: database and sign-in (servers in Mumbai, India)
  • Cloudflare: hosting the website
  • Resend: sending account emails
  • Google: only if you choose “Sign in with Google”

They process data only to provide these services to us.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account and class data while your account is active, so progress carries across the year. You can delete a section yourself at any time from its Edit page. To delete your whole account and everything in it, write to us and we’ll do it within 7 days.
